Barcode not Printing when exported to PDF

This seems to be an issue for a lot of people. Is there a workaround for
this?
I am using 3of9.ttf it is on the report server and my local machine. the
barcode shows up inthe web view but disappears in the saved/printed pdf.Hi Eric,
Based on research, this issue seems to be a known issue that is caused by
Acrobat related driver. Usaing different Acrobot version may have different
results. When exporting a report with a barcode font (AdvI25d_.TTF) to a
PDF, the first two characters of the font run together and become
unreadable. The workaround at present is using TIFF image other than this
Font.

You may want to contact Microsoft Customer Support Services (CSS) for more
information on this issue because they may have update on the processing of
resolving this issue with Acrobat because it is more dependent on their

the text box 3x

>|||Thank you. For whatever reason, that fixed the issue for me too.
Wei's suggested work-around of converting to tiff doesn't do the job
completely, as the barcode printed from the tiff file is not
scannable.

Barcode not printing

I have barcode printing formula in my report. When the report runs,it
does not print the barcode , just prints the barcode text with some additional characters in the begining and end of the text.Is there any file missing in cryatal to print that barcode ? If yes then whats the name of this file ?Are you using formula to print barcode inside report file?? :confused:
If you want to use 1-D barcode, why don't you use barcode font.sql

barcode missing when printing from reporting services

I am using a barcode font 39 to generate barcodes in some reports. If I
reader the report and save it to a excel spreedsheet and print then the
report prints fine with the barcode.
If while I am in the browser I use the reporting services print engine the
barcode comes out as the numbers ie *12345* instead of the barcode font. The
numbers also come up in the preview of the printing.
I have installed the font on the local and reporting service computersI have just also found that if I export to Excel the barcode works but if I
export to PDF it doesn't.

I had the same problem. I wish Microsoft would release a fix to the problem
but I found a work-around by making the textbox (that holds the barcode in
the [rdl]) 3 times larger than the required size. This will of course mess
up your design.

Are there any samples available that will show me how to do this?
Do I need to purchase a third-party component?

suggestions? I follwed the directions to a "T". Did you have to "tweak"
anything to get it to work for you?
